… schön&gut is at popkomm at the moment… happening within the concept of the berlin music week, popkomm is just one music-related fair together with a2n, jazzkomm and a lot of really cool label events outside the fair centre at the old and atmospherical berlin tempelhof airport. tomorrow we will start the meetings and getting togethers…
for now we really recommend you to visit the booth of hamburg located digital media service finetunes - cool people, cool enterprise, cool labels and artists and a pretty nice lounge, where you can recharge your laptop, your iphone or whatever needs to be charged… even if it’s your coffee-batteries…

… to mark webb - who won the bmx competitions at t-mobile xtreme playgrounds last weekend in pinneberg/hamburg. although the weather was completely hamburgish the contests and concerts found it’s fans.
incredible competition and incredible tricks done by all participating bmx’ers… we are all already looking forward to 2011.. let’s see who s got the winning smile then.
and sorry to not post anything about the music - but come on - we all loved to see the guys doing their bmx thing… who is into gentleman in underwear shirts… sorry. NOT COOL :)

really cool to see and hear that we do not need to always go with the us soul singers - hey, we do have great ones over here in europe, too!
caroline chevin is from switzerland, actually releasing on the well-known swiss label nation music, which is already known for great r’n’b, soul and hiphop productions and artists. this album was written by caroline herself and another nation music artist “seven” who is not only doing his own r’n’b centered stuff, featuring big names like talib kweli (check out the “go slow ep”!) but also a lot of songwriting and producing for other nation music artists.
this album presents a great and deep retro soul sound, and this is no surprise when you know, that the famous Dap King Horns added some smooth groove and hot brass to the chords of caroline…
so check it out! great bonus track and video material presenting a more than sympathetic artist. I hope she’ll be on tour in germany soon…

we already waited long for this event to re-happen in hamburg - telekom extreme playgrounds present some of the best wakeboarders and bmx’ers you’ve seen. spiced with great music acts like millencolin, gentlemen or sublime the riders fight not only for honor and glory but for scoring in the wwa wake park world series 2010 and the not less important prize money…
we are excited to see this event - so for sure you’ll meet us there…

yes, sorry we were off some days - but the annual and this year’s jubilee cyclassics (it’s already been 15 years!) race really took all our attention…
starting on the 155km track was an incredible experience - thanks to the personal “double j fanclub” I was pushed through the race at almost every corner…
weather was fine, no accident, no flat tires or problems - so this time it was just for checking the track - next year the race will be on… you better speed up - cause we can do!

this girl is simply awesome. why? she is just doin’ what she is doin’. you know. not caring about any restrictions or opinions… it is really hard to do the simple things. and to do them right. definitively she can handle these things… if I open a club with only good music, be sure that robyn’s records would play each night - as long as I am the DJ…
